Privacy Policy

DealerPronto is a lean tool. We collect the least data we can to run it, and we don't sell it. This page explains what we store and the control you have over it.

What the free calculator collects

Nothing. The free calculator and market guide run entirely in your browser. There is no account and no server storage — the numbers you type never leave your device unless you choose to create an account and save them.

What an account stores

If you create an account, we store your email address (for magic-link sign-in and support) and the deal, watchlist, rebuild-log, and settings data you save. That's it. We don't ask for a password, and we don't use tracking or advertising cookies.

Emails we send

We use your email — whether from an account, the waitlist, or a form — for service messages, and occasionally for updates about DealerPronto products and related offerings from DealerPronto LLC, such as Utah Dealer School courses and license-renewal reminders. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link; opting out is instant and never affects your account.

Improving the service

We may use aggregated, de-identified data to improve the service (for example, calibrating fee and repair estimates). We never sell your data or share any individual dealer's information.

Cash-deal posture — buyer information

DealerPronto is built for cash used-car deals. When you enter buyer details to produce a bill of sale, disclosure, or IRS Form 8300 helper, that information is yours: it lives in your account so you can print the paperwork you're legally required to keep, and it is protected per-account so no other dealer can see it. We do not run credit, we do not collect Social Security numbers, and we don't take payment information from your buyers — those are your records to keep, not ours to mine.

Payments

Paid subscriptions are handled by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe directly and are never stored on DealerPronto's servers.

Deleting your account and data

You can delete your account and all associated data yourself, at any time, from Settings → Delete my account in the app. It cancels any active subscription and permanently removes your saved deals, watchlist, rebuild entries, and settings. We recommend exporting your data first — the same screen offers a one-click export — because deletion can't be undone.

Data location and security

Account data is stored with our infrastructure providers (Supabase for the database, Netlify for hosting) in the United States, protected by per-account access rules. Sign-in is passwordless via a one-time email link.

Children

DealerPronto is a business tool and is not directed at anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy we'll update the date above and, for material changes, notify account holders by email.
